Reigning Cats and Dogs II Wag Your Tails! “Reigning Cats and Dogs” Has Returned!Artwork featuring our favorite pets, benefiting the Bakersfield SPCA LOCATION: The Younger Gallery, 1430 Truxtun Ave, Suite 105, Bakersfield, CA 93301 (in the Bank of America Tower) So, who let the dogs out? We did! And the cats too! The Arts Council of Kern is proud to announce the return of Reigning Cats and Dogs, an exhibit benefiting the Arts Council and the Bakersfield SPCA. All the works displayed will feature a cat or dog and will be for sale. Artists have submitted their best artwork featuring our favorite furry domestic pets. Art ranges from realistic to the modern, in every price range. The exhibit is open to the public from November 13, 2009 to January 20, 2010, and a portion of all sales will benefit the Bakersfield SPCA and their effort to help cats and dogs in need of a loving home. We have received wonderful art from local Kern County artists. "Kern County is extremely rich with local talent," says Jeanette Richardson Parks, Executive Director of the Arts Council of Kern. "The Arts Council is looking forward to showcasing their talent and helping the Bakersfield SPCA, too."
