By now you are getting into a school routine.  You should have most of your text books and materials (we very much appreciate your patience as we continue to update and improve our new library/text book check out system) and school should be in full swing!  Hopefully, between all the lesson planning, getting familiar with new curriculum,  and instructional time you have had a few moments to check out the many offerings available at the school.  Field trips, enrichment classes, workshops, math and reading tutoring, museum cards, VOPAC PALs (the parent group's latest addition to help new parents make a smooth transition) and other opportunities are in place to make your home schooling experience exciting, interesting, and above all educational.  We are so grateful to our VOCS families for allowing Valley Oaks to be a part of their home schooling  journey and look forward to being of service as the year progresses.  Please contact your resource teachers, the office, the administration, or me with any questions or concerns you may have.  We love hearing from you and our great desire is for each and every family to have a successful school year!
